Celestial Cities is a hand made print series inspired by the solar system and Italo Calvino's "Invisible Cities". The collection contains 9 limited edition prints each representing one of the celestial bodies through architectural imagary- The Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
The limited edition prints were produced by hand in a labour intensive process which used engraved wooden boards as printing blocks, and the resulting prints are tactile and detailed, with unique textures and inconsistencies left from the process.
