The first piece from my 'Home Editions' series, a collection of prints I produced during the Covid19 Lockdown. Creating a new piece each week and sharing my progress daily on instagram, each week my followers could pre-order reduced price prints based on the progress they could see each day.
This piece is based on the magical realist classic novel set in Colombia, One Hundred Years of Solitude, by Gabriel García Márquez. The illustration is inspired by the opening scenes of the book, but has some details and themes from throughout the book.
