The first piece in the collection was "Voyages Over Edinburgh". In the winter of 1785 in Edinburgh, all the shops closed for a day and over 80,000 people gathered to watch one of the world’s first ever balloon rides. Growing up in Edinburgh I could occasionally watch hot air balloons rise over the city from the park opposite my house.
Voyages Over Edinburgh was initially released as a large limited edition fine art print, and has been adapted for several editorial uses and small publications.
The collection has expanded over time to now include more personal pieces and pieces which were commissioned for clothing, prints for Urban Outfitters, various homeware products, and publications.
